EC-40 Computer Timing Interface
| This new Interface is remarkably easy to use. Just connect one or two Photogates and plug it into the USB connector on a Wintel computer and you are ready to go. The Interface records and presents on the computer screen the duration that the first or second Photogate was interrupted in any combination. It is priceless for conservation of momentum experiments where Gliders will both pass through one of the Photogates after their collision. Using one Photogate with a Daedalon Picket Fence Target on the Glider gives an accurate determination of velocity and acceleration as the Glider passes through the Photogate. |

Times are directly displayed or stored for spreadsheet analysis. Velocities and accelerations can be computed within the program. Supplied with two EA-25 Universal Photogates and the software for Window®. The ubiquitous USB connector makes this convenience possible. And economical too. |
| An EC-40 Computer Timing Interface being used to time and record the results of time trials for Lego® Race Cars. The Timing Interface is shown by the arrow. The recording laptop computer is behind the Interface and under the track.
