This highly accurate system offers ± 0.1 mm resolution with IBM PC computers. The system samples at a 10 Hz to 60 Hz rate and produces a real-time plot, allowing your students to easily compare the actual motion with the screen plot.
This measurement system is ideally suited for Air Track measuements. The transducer mounts on the end stop and covers the range of Daedalon Air Tracks. The system measures position ± 0.1 mm resolution with Wintel computers. The sample rate is a settable rate from 10 Hz to 60 Hz. The slower rate generates plenty of data while eliminating spurios echos from nearby objects that often interferes with the measurement.
The software provides full graphing and analysis routines to use with the experimental data. You can choose any function to plot against another, for example, velocity versus time or acceleration versus velocity.

All of the electronics are mounted in the transducer box and connect to the computter via a supplied USB cable.. There is no line cord to plug in, the computer supplies the power needed. The computer screen plot is in real time, allowing your students to easily compare the actual motion with the screen plot.
