ES-06 Digital Stroboscope

  • Motion recording of dynamics experiments
  • Permanent photo-recording
  • Measures rotation speed without physical contact

The Daedalon ES-06 Stroboscope Driver fires a line strobe tube, producing a bright compact source of light ideally suited for visually stopping motion or analytical photography. When the strobe is mounted beside the camera lens, and Scotchlite Tape attached to the moving object, high contrast measurement points are recorded in the photograph.

There are three basic timing ranges: high (30-150 Hz), medium (7-100 Hz), or low (1-10 Hz). The frequency accuracy to 0.1% is set with a front panel knob and displayed on a 4 digit LED readout either in Hertz (Hz) or Revolutions per Minute (RPM). The Strobe Driver can be remotely triggered with the supplied 1 m push button switch cable. For accurate low frequency measurements, the display reads to 0.1 Hz or 1 RPM. A 30 cm piece of Scotchlite Tape is supplied.
