EG-26 Microwave Receiver

The companion instrument to the EG-24 Transmitter, the receiver uses a Schottky diode in a die cast tuned cavity and horn to detect a vertically polarized microwave signal. The internal amplifier drives the panel meter showing the detected signal strength. Ideal for Microwave Optics experiments such as the Daedalon EG-25 Microwave Optics.

EG-08 Ultrasonic Receiver

Companion to the EG-07 Ultrasonic Transmitter it facilitates diffraction and interference experiments at 40 kHz ultrasonic waves. The wavelength is equal to the microwave signal so that the interference patterns have the same physical scale.

 EG-45 Radiometer

Measures the energy in a radiation beam throughout the optical spectrum. Calibrated in Watts per square meter, it measures from solar radiation to the heat of a human hand. Makes the verification of the Stefan-Boltzmann law a single lab session experiment.

 EG-40 Photometer

Measures the visual intensity of light from sunlight to moonlight with a fiber optic probe or direct measurement through an aperture on the front panel. Indicates on a digital read-out from .001 to 10,000 lux.

 EG-04 Laboratory Microphone

An general purpose microphone in a machined aluminum case for the roughest student service. Perfect for illustrating voice waveforms on an oscilloscope. Measures interference patterns with audio frequencies.
