EM-10 Force Table

Ours is the best Force Table that you can buy, priced to fit into your budget. Our Force Table illustrates the basic principles of statics and serves as an introduction to the study of vectors. This sturdy piece of apparatus is built with a 40 cm diameter table made of solid aluminum, machined and engraved with a 360&Mac251; angle scale and mounted on a cast iron tripod base. The Force Table has four low-friction pulleys with a scribed line to measure the angle. The four weight sets are self-locking on the weight holders, so they won’t spill off as the loads are balanced.

EB-07 Torque Table

This table gives a hands-on look at the problems of torque and center of gravity. Its simplicity focuses attention on the actual forces involved, giving a clear, uncluttered picture of exactly what is happening. It is analogous to a force table with moments replacing forces at a point. The disk, made of 4.8 mm aluminum plate, is balanced on a ground tool steel point, being free to rotate or to tilt in any direction. Diameter is 60 cm.

Think of it. That is very big.

To provide reference points and a means of hanging weights, 360 holes are drilled through it on 2 1/2 cm centers. X and Y axes are identified by broken recessed lines. The circular level is set in the top of a hub. Both the hub and the center support post are stainless. Includes 5 Angled Mass Hangers.

EB-17 Angled Mass Hangers

These are absolutely the finest weight hangers made. Built of welded stainless steel, they are virtually unbreakable. They accept most slotted masses that are held in place by the angle at the bottom of the hanger. Masses slip on and stay until you want to change them. They are supplied with all Beck apparatus that need Mass Hangers and are available separately if you want to upgrade other experiments.

Masses are not included
